ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The 2026 event season at the Rochester Public Market is officially underway, with dozens of events planned throughout the year.
Mayor Malik Evans joined market organizers to unveil this year’s lineup, which includes themed market days, food truck rodeos, live music and cultural celebrations. City leaders say the schedule is designed to offer something for a wide range of visitors.
According to the city, there are 35 events planned over the next 36 weeks, increasing the chances for residents to find an event that fits their interests.
Highlights from the 2026 season include recurring Food Truck Rodeos, Bands on the Bricks concerts, Flower City Days and the Great New York State Flea market series. Special events later in the year include Oktoberfest, Italian-American Heritage Day and Halloween at the Market.
Ticketed events are also returning, including the Flour City Brewers Fest and the Foodlink Festival of Food, both scheduled for late summer and early fall.
The market will continue its regular hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, alongside the expanded event programming.
Officials say the goal is to keep the Public Market a hub for community activity year-round, drawing both longtime visitors and newcomers to the city staple.
