Blossoms have signed to Distiller for the release of new music.
New single Joke About Divorce, produced by Shawn Lee, is out now via ODD SK Recordings/Distiller Music.
The band have four No.1 albums to date, including a chart-topping result for 2024 release Gary – released in partnership with The Orchard following several LPs with EMI (then Virgin EMI).
For their new music, Blossoms opted to follow former Orchard executive James Moodie to Distiller. He was appointed MD last September.
James Moodie said: “We are very happy to be working with Blossoms and SJM Management on the band’s upcoming new music at Distiller. In the first decade of their career, Blossoms have delivered a string of No.1 albums and a slew of amazing songs, as well as some truly wonderful shows.
“We look forward to helping them continue their journey as one of the most important bands in the UK, starting with the new track Joke About Divorce, with many more exciting things to come!”

Joke About Divorce was named Radio 1’s Hottest Record for the April 20 edition of the New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
In a statement, Blossoms said: “After releasing our last album, Gary, independently through The Orchard, we wanted a similar approach to this record. James Moodie was the marketing director at the Orchard, and was a joy to work with on that record. He recently moved over to Distiller, so when the conversations about a new album came around he told us he’d love to work with us again – so we jumped at the opportunity.
“We’re a very hands-on band, making music videos ourselves, developing the creative direction across the campaigns and generally making things happen, so being given the creative freedom is incredibly important to us as we like to move fast on ideas and get things done. The process so far has been delightful and we can’t wait for everyone to hear and see what we’ve been creating!”
This summer will see the band return to the festival circuit, headlining Neighbourhood Weekender and appearing at Tramlines.
