Thank you so much for joining us today, AMiR! Let’s dig right into your career so far. When did you first start making music? Where did it all begin, and what inspired you?
“I’ve been making music for several years now, but my passion started long before I ever stepped into a studio. Growing up, music was always around me, and I saw it as a way to express thoughts and emotions that were difficult to put into everyday conversations. Hip hop especially inspired me because of its honesty, storytelling, and ability to motivate people. What began as writing lyrics eventually turned into recording songs, producing music, and building my career as an independent artist.”
Can you tell us a bit about your latest release, ‘ESCO BAR’, and what it means to you?
“My latest release is a Trap influenced EP called ‘ESCO BAR’. It’s one of my most personal and focused projects to date because it represents the mindset of hustling, staying disciplined, and believing in yourself regardless of your circumstances. The title reflects ambition and confidence, but beneath that is a story about resilience, overcoming setbacks, and chasing success without losing yourself. I wanted every track to motivate listeners to keep pushing toward their goals, whether they’re entrepreneurs, students, artists, or anyone working to build a better life.”
Were there any particular artists, moments, or experiences that influenced you when writing the project?
“Absolutely. I’ve always admired artists like Jay Z, Nipsey Hussle, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Lil Wayne because they combine real life experiences with powerful lyricism. Their music taught me that you can inspire people while staying authentic. Beyond music, my own life experiences, the grind of being an independent artist, and seeing people around me work hard despite challenges all played a huge role in shaping this project.”
What was your songwriting process like for this release? How did it all come together?
“The writing process was very natural. Most songs started with a beat that created a certain emotion or atmosphere. From there, I’d write from personal experiences, thoughts, and conversations I’ve had over the years. I didn’t want to force anything—I wanted every record to feel genuine. Once the songs were written, I focused on making sure the production, lyrics, and overall energy all connected to tell one complete story.”
How would you describe the sound on ‘ESCO BAR’, and how has your style evolved since you first began?
“’ESCO BAR’ blends modern trap production with melodic elements and lyrical storytelling. It’s energetic, motivational, and cinematic while still feeling authentic. I’ve definitely evolved since I first started making music. In the beginning, I was experimenting and finding my sound. Today I’m much more confident as both an artist and songwriter, and I understand how to create music that’s true to who I am while connecting with a wider audience.”
Is there a central message or theme you were trying to convey, and is there a specific moment on the EP that captures that idea best?
“The central message is simple: never stop hustling and never let your circumstances define your future. Success doesn’t happen overnight—it comes from consistency, belief, and resilience. That’s the spirit running through the entire EP. Every song represents a different chapter of that journey, from facing obstacles to celebrating progress while remaining hungry for the next level.”
Looking ahead, what are your aspirations as an artist? Where do you see yourself in the next few years, both musically and personally?
“My goal is to build a global career while representing where I come from. I want to collaborate with artists from around the world, perform on international stages, and continue growing as a songwriter and performer. Personally, I want to create opportunities not only for myself but for other talented creatives, showing that success is possible through hard work, consistency, and faith in your vision.”
What is next on the horizon after this EP? Can fans expect new releases or live shows soon?
“’ESCO BAR’ is only the beginning of what’s coming. I’m already working on new music, visuals, and collaborations that continue building my sound and story. Fans can definitely expect more releases, live performances, and exciting announcements in the near future. I’m focused on staying consistent and giving people music that inspires them.”
What sort of reception have you had to the release so far, and have any memorable moments stood out to you?
“The response has been really encouraging. Seeing listeners connect with the themes of ambition, motivation, and perseverance has been rewarding. One of the most memorable moments has been hearing people tell me the music motivates them to keep working toward their own goals. That’s exactly why I make music—to inspire people while sharing my own journey.”
