Lewis Capaldi has offered his dad’s fishmonger business to supply “the freshest fish” for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding
Capaldi hopes the offer will entice the couple to at least invite him to “the evening bit” of their wedding

Lewis Capaldi has a unique wedding offer for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
During his recent appearance on BBC Radio 2’s The Scott Mills Breakfast Show, Capaldi, 29, said that while he doesn’t believe he’ll make the guest list for “The Fate of Ophelia” singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s wedding, he has one idea that might score him an invitation.
Several stars have offered their wedding services to Swift, 35, and Kelce, 36, in hopes of being invited, including: Mark Ronson offering to be the wedding DJ, Foreigner writing an open letter to be the wedding band, Jimmy Fallon volunteering to be the stand-up comedian, Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro suggesting he make the wedding cake, and Martha Stewart throwing her hat into the ring to be the wedding planner.
“I can’t offer anything like that,” Capaldi said, before realizing one surprising thing his family could provide.

“My dad is a fishmonger. My dad will supply the fish, Taylor,” the Scottish singer-songwriter joked. “My dad will supply the fish for you — the freshest fish, by the way, for your wedding.”
Capaldi’s father’s fish business is named KP’s Seafood Specialist, and is located in Bearsden, near Glasgow.
Earlier in the interview, Capaldi said that while he doesn’t think he’ll be invited to the wedding, he did, however, attend Swift’s 30th birthday party in December 2019. During his appearance on SiriusXM Hits 1 in late 2022, he noted he hasn’t “been invited back to another Taylor Swift party” since then.
Most recently, Capaldi reconnected with Swift during their appearance on the Oct. 3 episode of The Graham Norton Show. At the time, Swift praised Capaldi’s “beautiful” music. “Like an angel,” she said.
On BBC Radio 2, host Scott Mills suggested that Capaldi might be invited to the reception, and not the ceremony.
“I would love the evening invite. The evening invite for weddings is the best,” Capaldi teased. “And you don’t have to sit through the bit where they get married and stuff.”

He continued, “Just invite me to the evening bit please, Taylor. I’ll just nip in, say hello and get out of there.”
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on Aug. 26.
