Toscano is still releasing music and touring. Her most recent release was the song “Redirected” on July 10. She was recently on tour with Andrea Bocelli, and will return to the stage as his opening act this fall.
It wasn’t until 2022 that Toscano released her first album of original music. She has also dabbled in some acting, most recently starring in the 2022 movie musical 1660 Vine.

Toscano has lived in Nashville since 2021. “I moved here for the peace it brought me, the closeness to family, and, of course, the incredible music scene,” she shared in an Instagram post at the time.
While the singer grew up in New York and lived in Los Angeles for 13 years, she said she just “needed a change,” which prompted the move. “During COVID a lot changed for me and I just felt a feeling of unrest and that I needed to change my surroundings,” she revealed, adding that she was between Las Vegas and Nashville for her next residence.
“I really, really just wanted to focus on songwriting and just meeting new people that will bring out another side of me musically,” she explained.
Is Pia Toscano married?
Yes, Toscano married her husband, Carmen Educate, in November 2024 in Nashville. David Foster and Katharine McPhee sang at the nuptials.
Educate also works in the music industry, serving as the executive vice president of On Stage Audio, a live sound production company. Foster introduced Toscano and Educate in 2018, although they didn’t start dating until 2021. Educate proposed in October 2023, just over a year before the wedding.
Does Pia Toscano have a child?
Toscano and Educate, who has five children from a previous relationship, announced in July 2026 that she is pregnant with their first child. Their baby girl is due in December.
“We found out we were pregnant on April 13th, which made the moment even more special because 13 has always been my angel number connected to my Grandpa Jay,” Toscano told People. “It felt like such a meaningful sign and made an already emotional moment feel even more personal.”
She called finding out about the pregnancy “one of the most emotional moments of my life.”

The couple hasn’t decided on a name yet, but revealed that they want to pay homage to their Italian roots with the moniker. “We have a few options narrowed down, but we feel like we won’t truly know until we meet her,” Toscano explained. “We may have to wait until she’s here to know which name feels like it was meant for her.”
