ST. ALBANS CITY — Live music is coming to downtown St. Albans this weekend as part of the 59th Vermont Maple Festival.
April 24-26 on the Main Street Stage, hear from local singer-songwriters, talented tribute groups and classic cover bands.
All shows are free admission.
1-3 p.m. Friday, April 24: MADDI RYAN
Hailing from just north of Boston, Maddi Ryan is back at the maple festival. She is an up and coming singer/songwriter who has opened for country artist Morgan Myles, and her performances have earned her multiple New England Music Award nominations including for “Country Act of the Year,” “Performer of the Year,” and “Album of the Year.”
4-6 p.m. Friday, April 24: CONNIPTION FITS
Based in Lebanon, New Hampshire, Conniption Fits is an all-out entertaining band, known for unique versions of popular 80s, 90s and current pop cover song selections. They will seamlessly move from an 80s fav like “Come On Eileen” to 90s alternative like “My Own Worst Enemy” and hip hop like, “Hot In Here.”
1:30-3 p.m. Saturday, April 25: LEXI JAMES
Born and raised in New England and shaped by the spirit of Nashville, James weaves classic country storytelling with a modern edge. Her music reflects a fearless authenticity — showcased in singles “Leaving Me Slowly” and “Girls Can.”
4-6 p.m. Saturday, April 25: REDNECK CASTAWAY BAND
The six accomplished musicians of the Redneck Castaway Band pay tribute to Kenny Chesney’s incredible catalog of chart-topping country songs. The band brings the thrill and excitement of a Chesney concert and will energize any crowd.
2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 26: ISAAC FRENCH
Isaac French is a musician and songwriter from Vermont who performs original, pop-folk tunes. He released his debut album “Human Being” in 2019, and he shared stages with artists like Rodney Atkins, The Head And The Heart and Danielle Bradbury.
