Jessica Graf is not the same person you met on Big Brother and The Amazing Race.
“Eight years. That’s how long it’s been since I filmed Big Brother. And every time I post something faith-related or dress a certain way, someone finds their way to my comments to remind me that I wasn’t always like this,” Jessica, 35, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, April 21. “You’re right. I wasn’t. And honestly? Thank God.”
When Jessica appeared on Big Brother season 19 in 2017, she was 26 years old, single and “figuring out who I was, what I believed, what kind of life I actually wanted.”
Now, she’s married to former costar Cody Nickson, raising five daughters and expressing how proud she is of her faith.
“If you’re the same person you were 8 years ago, that’s the thing that should concern us,” she said. “Growth isn’t something to be suspicious of. It’s the whole point. So yes. I’ve changed. I’ve grown. I’m not who I was in 2017 and I am so grateful for that. Thank God, literally. #bigbrother #personalgrowth #christianwoman #faithandfunny.”
Soon after sharing her perspective, Jessica — who won The Amazing Race with Cody, 41, in 2018 — received supportive comments from other reality stars.
“Thank God I’ve grown 👏❤️,” Big Brother alum Elena Davies wrote in the comments section. Bachelor Nation’s Vanessa Grimaldi added, “Amen!!❤️❤️.”

Both Jessica and Cody have been open about their faith after they experienced reality TV.
Over Easter weekend, the couple documented their trip to church, where they celebrated mass with their family.
“On the 3rd day, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rose from the dead, declaring victory over sin, death, and the devil… what an amazing day to celebrate, Happy Easter ✝️,” Cody wrote via Instagram on April 5. “Tell everyone the good news 🙏.”
As for their life in Texas, both Jessica and Cody said they finally found the perfect home to raise their family.
“It’s hard to build a community and deep relationships with people when you work from home and we were starting from scratch,” Jessica exclusively told Us Weekly in August 2025. “But we started finding our favorite community coffee shops and restaurants, joined a church that truly felt like home and started discovering friends that feel like family.”
Cody added, “I thank God every day how fortunate our girls are to have her as their role model and mom.”
