Megan Moroney is crediting removing “loser men” from her life as the secret to clear, glowing skin

Megan Moroney has some pretty straightforward advice for anyone trying to clear up their skin.
In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, the country star, 28, shared her “secret to perfect skin” was to simply get “loser men out of your life.”
“Getting loser men out of your life will clear up your skin,” she quipped in a video shared to Instagram on Thursday, July 23.
“About a year ago, my skin was all broken out, and then I got rid of them, and then, boom. Clear skin,” the “Tennessee Orange” singer said.
“Beautiful. Clear. Glowing. Shining,” she added. “Get the stressful man out of your life and wash your face.
Moroney has been candid about preferring the single life in the past.
Last year, the country star appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone’s Future of Music series, and said she’s been single since early 2024, when she broke up with “a regular finance dude.”
Moroney then showed off some self-deprecation, admitting that she hasn’t always picked the best boyfriends.

“I feel like I’ve always had bad taste in men,” she said. “I had a really sweet boyfriend in fifth grade, and I broke up with him because I wanted to date the eighth-grade bad boy who had failed a bunch of times… I don’t know if this song will make my next album, but an opening line is ‘I know how to pick them. Copy, paste.’”
While the musician certainly wants her happy ever after, she explained that being single amid her ascent to country superstardom has actually been for the best.
“I could not imagine going through the past year if I was upset and crying over a dude,” she told the magazine.

The star has previously been linked to country singer Riley Green but shut down any romance talk to Rolling Stone.
She was also previously linked to Morgan Wallen, who was rumored to be the muse behind her breakthrough hit “Tennessee Orange.” Moroney later confirmed that she was wearing his shirt in the song’s promotional art and said on Call Her Daddy in July that they did spend time together romantically after meeting in 2020, but were “never exclusively” dating.
“We were friends for a long time. We were not just friends. And now we’re friends,” she explained.
The singer has also been candid about her beauty habits over the course of her career — but has shared that she values a lot more than just her looks.
In a press release shared with PEOPLE in April, the Revlon ambassador said that her role in the brand’s “Be Unforgettable” campaign served as an important reminder that powerful women can and should take up space.
“This campaign represents a truth I believe in: beauty is only one part of what makes someone unforgettable,” Moroney shared at the time. “There’s power in reminding women they can take up space and lead with confidence, authenticity and strength. Being part of that message means a lot to me.”
