St. Augustine’s Romanza Festivale of Music & the Arts returns May 1-17 with more than 40 events in a myriad of venues throughout America’s oldest city.
Showcasing regional and international performances in music, dance, visual arts, theater, and comedy, the two-week extravaganza includes free, donation-only as well as low-cost ticketed events.
Albert Syeles, Romanza’s co-founder and president, said the festival is an opportunity to showcase people, organizations and beautiful spaces dedicated to spreading joy through art.
“We’re very passionate about making culture accessible to all – that’s why most shows are free, while others are donation-only or as low-cost as possible,” he said in a news release. “This is an opportunity for the community to experience what we have available in our own backyards.”
