In the latest YouGov poll, Meghan ranks second-worst, with only disgraced Andrew, Mountbatten-Windsor, below her. The Sussexes remain unpopular among the British public, with only 30% for Harry and 20% for Meghan having positive views.
Despite her efforts to salvage her image, the Duchess remains extremely unpopular with the public, and most of her projects have been savaged by critics.
But a PR expert claimed she can alleviate that with a simple strategy.
Renae Smith, founder of PR agency The Atticism, told the Daily Express: “She could win, but it would require a much clearer strategy and a lot more consistency over time. Right now, what we’re seeing is not failure, but it’s also not progress. It’s visibility without evolution.”
It comes as Meghan’s latest product launch for her lifestyle brand, As Ever, was met with criticism from fans due to the products’ hefty price tags.
As Ever’s Mother’s Day collection includes the candles on their own, two sets called the Sweetest Mom Set and the Mother’s Day Edit and the cheapest item, which is a box of chocolates, which retails at £37.
They’re part of a limited-edition collaboration with Los Angeles-based chocolatier Compartés.
The box includes ten chocolates with caramel centres and flower sprinkles, with each one weighing 28 grams.
Some fans loved the new products, while others were not impressed with the price tag.
One user wrote on Reddit: “So, let’s look at what you get in her new box of chocolates for Mother’s Day. It’s a 6 ounce box of 10 small caramel-filled dark chocolates with safflower petals for $58. That’s $10 per ounce, folks. Mothers everywhere deserve SO much better.”
Another person agreed: “I get better value and taste from NO NAME cheap jams/spreads.”
