OCVIBE is a new public gathering space covering 100 acres in Anaheim, promising an impressive lineup of public parks, a state-of-the-art entertainment venue, modern residences and hotels, and dozens of restaurants.

Things to look forward to at OCVIBE
OCVIBE will open its lineup of entertainment spaces and public areas in phases, per the following timeline.
This year, work is centered around a $1 billion renovation of Honda Center, home of Anaheim Ducks hockey, global concert tours, and entertainment. Look for refreshed concessions, including a self-pouring beer wall, and two new multi-level parking garages.
The 5,000-person, 18,000-square-foot OCVIBE Concert Hall opens in early 2027, ready to host everything from televised award shows to major concerts. It will debut alongside the landscaped Urban Park, with 3 miles of walkable trails, an outdoor public art gallery, and brand new parks and plazas.
Also in 2027, OCVIBE will open Katella Commons, a food market hall featuring six integrated bars and lounges where you can enjoy food and drinks by 21 carefully chosen chefs.
Future vision
Further ahead in 2028 and 2029, visitors can look forward to even more public green spaces, as well as two hotels and initial residences ready for move-in, and a 300-capacity “Golden Bear” club.
OCVIBE is envisioned as a transit-oriented, inclusive, and sustainable public gathering space featuring LEED buildings and mindfully designed open spaces.
“The open space network at OCVIBE was designed to be a series of intentionally episodic spaces that support community health as well as physical and mental well-being for everyone who visits OCVIBE,” said David Fletcher, Landscape Architect at Fletcher Studio, the SF-based design collaborative behind OCVIBE.
“The spaces and plantings were shaped around how people gather, move and connect. There is a park within a 5-minute walk from anywhere on the site. It’s a place where wellness is embedded and where art, nature, shade, sunlight, and programming come together to enhance your day-to-day.”
The new community is anticipating a 2033 completion date, at which point guests will be able to enjoy 20 new acres of open space, more than 2,000 residences, 35+ dining experiences, and three entertainment venues.
