‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ Continues Reign Atop U.K. Home Entertainment Sales Chart Through April 29

For a fourth consecutive week, 20th Century Studios’ Avatar: Fire and Ash continued its reign atop the Official Film Chart, the U.K.’s weekly home entertainment sales chart, for the week through April 29. The third installment in director James Cameron’s sci-fi fantasy franchise generated $1.46 billion at the global box office.

Meanwhile, Sony’s sci-fi horror sequel 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple surged 10 spots to No. 2 in its eighth week on the chart. Black Bear’s Shelter leaped 26 spots to reach the podium at No. 3 in its seventh week on the chart.

Universal’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie (No. 4), extended its long-lasting consumer appeal in its 106th week on the chart.

Re-entering the top 10 at No. 5 was 20th Century Studios’ survival thriller Send Help in its fifth week on the chart. Warner’s reboot of Wuthering Heights moved up to No. 6 in its fourth week of retail release.

The Asian action thriller The Killer, which follows a disciplined assassin whose carefully controlled life begins to unravel after a job goes wrong, debuted at No. 7.

Surging 26 spots to No. 8 was 20th Century Studios’ original 2006 The Devil Wears Prada returned to the top 10 in anticipation of the sequel, also starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, coming to theaters

Another chart re-entry, Paramount’s Primate, landed at No. 9, followed by Lionsgate’s The Housemaid (No. 10) in its 11th week on the chart.
