Taylor Swift taught Cara Delevingne how to live the life of a showgirl.
As the model sets out on her blossoming music career, having announced her first headlining shows earlier this month, she shared a valuable piece of advice given from the 14-time Grammy winner.
“The more you do, the more people there are gonna be that question it,” Cara told E! News at Billboard’s Women in Music event in Los Angeles April 29. “Art is a pure expression of yourself. So, if you’re doing what you feel is right, nothing else really matters.”
Indeed, Cara shared that one of the flowers she picked from Taylor’s lovely bouquet is to know she’ll find an audience that resonates with her sound.
As she put it, “The only thing I want is for people to feel things from this music.”
Of course, Taylor isn’t the only showgirl that Cara looked to for advice. The 33-year-old explained that Alanis Morissette and Fiona Apple were major inspirations for her upcoming singles “I Forgot” and “Out of My Head,” which she announced April 24.
