The former boxer has had criticism from viewers after his comments on the ITV series
I’m a Celebrity South Africa star David Haye has been told to “let it go” after his most recent “dig” towards Adam Thomas.
Last week, the live final aired with tensions brewing after the public reacted to David’s comments towards Adam, as well as the latter’s fiery row with Jimmy Bullard.
During the final, Jimmy stated he had been determined to explain what really happened during filming as he put forward his version of events, claiming Adam dropped “c-bombs” which were not aired.

Adam responded by saying he took “full responsibility” for his actions, which he apologised for, and said he has “nothing but love for Jimmy”, but David Haye, who faced his own controversy, with Adam, interrupted the exchange and said: “You’ve got a funny way of showing it,” before Dec stepped in and reminded the sportsman he “wasn’t there” when Adam and Jimmy’s row unfolded. Although he went on to win the series, Adam looked downcast as he received the title of ultimate legend.
Following on from the final, there is still tension between Adam and David. Responding to Adam’s claims that his behaviour towards him was ‘bullying’, the sportsman said: “So, I’ve just taken the time to listen to Adam Thomas’ podcast with his brothers, Ryan and Scott. It’s very, very interesting to see. He’s had a few days to sit down and full it over and process everything that’s happened, him winning I’m A Celebrity and how he’s processed it and it was enlightening.
“Dishing out banter to me, then losing the banter game, I gave it back to him, and he starts crying and moaning, somehow he’s spun it so he’s still the victim. He’s done an hour of chat with his brothers. I put it on double speed because I couldn’t listen to the waffle, but all three of them b**ching and whining and moaning, complaining he won! I don’t think he’s been around guys, like proper guys, who actually have a bit of back and forth and you build your resilience, your mental resilience, to jibes.”
David went on to say he’s “had plenty of it” in his time as a boxer and told how if he lost a fight, his mates would ‘give him s**t for it’ but said: “It’s what real men do!”
He continued: “Somehow, the little light sprinkling of primary school banter that I gave him, which was so gentle, he nearly had an emotional breakdown over it… The volume of banter that he received was significantly less than what he dished out. He dished it out, but couldn’t take it.”
Now, David has taken his response to Adam one step further after uploading a remix called “It’s Banter”. It’s unclear whether David is the one with the vocals in the clip posted, but he penned: “Chilling in @sunvalleycyprus when this banger landed.
“@kat_d_executor turned my full Adam Thomas reply into an R&B song, and honestly, it goes harder than the original!! Primary school banter has officially graduated. Hit play, stay till the end. Should I do all my responses as songs from now on?”
In the comments, celebrities and members of the public flooded David with either support or to tell him that he needs to “let it go”. Denise Welch wrote: “Who’s doing your PR David? Sack them”, as others told the boxer he is taking it too far.
