Coco Jones’ Met Gala Look: Prabal Gurung Dress & Mimi So Jewelry

Coco Jones wore Prabal Gurung on the 2026 Met Gala red carpet. She arrived at the Monday event in a strapless, chocolate-brown tulle mermaid gown with a ruched bodice, a dramatic flared train and flowing sheer layers.

The singer also wore custom couture jewelry by Mimi So: a pair of earrings set in 18-karat white gold featuring violet-to-lavender-to-pink ombré Tanzanian spinels totaling 40.85 carats alongside 7.15 carats of cushion-cut diamonds, valued at $168,000, paired with two rings — a pink mauve oval tourmaline set in 18-karat rose gold (7.67 carats, $10,800) and a blue and lavender sapphire ring combining a round blue sapphire with an emerald-cut lavender sapphire set in 18-karat gold (9.6 carats, $56,800).

Jones made her Met Gala debut in 2025, arriving in a custom cream-and-white look by Indian designer Manish Malhotra for the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme. The look, a dramatically embroidered long-sleeve coat with sharp lapels and coordinating trousers, featuring more than 200,000 hand-embroidered pearls and crystals, earned her widespread praise and placed her on multiple best-dressed lists from the evening.

The 2026 Met Gala took place on Monday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This year’s exhibition, “Costume Art,” celebrated fashion as an art form, with a dress code of “Fashion Is Art.” The event was co-chaired by Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour, with Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos serving as honorary chairs. The annual benefit raises funds for the Met’s Costume Institute.
