RiverBeat Music Festival 2026 brought thousands of music fans to Tom Lee Park in Downtown Memphis. Here’s a look around the fest.

Live Nation’s new Memphis concert venue, Satellite Music Hall, has confirmed it will open in early September and announced its initial slate of shows.

Operated by the entertainment giant Live Nation, Satellite Music Hall is located at 1291 Autumn Ave. adjacent to Crosstown Concourse. The 35,000-square-foot indoor venue will have a 1,300-person capacity.

On May 5, Live Nation announced the Memphis-rooted The Band Camino would serve as the venue’s inaugural act, performing a two-night stand Sept. 4 and 5.

Grammy-nominated West Tennessee native Valerie June will play a show on Sept. 17, while veteran Three 6 Mafia rapper Project Pat will play on Sept. 26.

In the fall, the venue has confirmed appearances by a group of national acts, with alt-rock band Modest Mouse (Oct. 12), indie-folk outfit Iron and Wine (Oct. 27) and rapper Prof (Nov. 4) all set to perform.

Tickets for those shows will go sale this week at Ticketmaster.com. Additional shows for 2026 and beyond are expected to be announced.

The venue’s inaugural lineup “reflects the energy and culture of Memphis,” Ted Heinig, vice president of Live Nation Southeast, said in a statement. “Opening with The Band Camino will be a special moment for the community and sets the tone for Satellite Music Hall as a place where artists and fans come together.”

Memphis Mayor Paul Young said the opening of Satellite Music Hall will “create a powerful new stage for the Memphis story.”

“It will create opportunity for our artists, our young people, and our economy, while bringing new energy and investment into the heart of our city,” he said. “This strengthens our position as a destination for live experiences and builds on what Memphis does best.”

The new venue will complement the larger entertainment ecosystem at Crosstown Concourse, which already has a pair of venues, the 400- to 600-capacity black box Crosstown Theater and the 150-capacity showroom/bar The Green Room, as well as two atrium spaces inside the building that also occasionally host concerts and live programming.

“Satellite Music Hall is the high-quality venue Memphis has always deserved,” said Todd Richardson, CEO of Crosstown Concourse. “With Crosstown Arts’ Green Room and Theater, the Hi Tone just two blocks away and now Satellite, the Crosstown neighborhood is transforming into a live music entertainment district with concerts almost every night.”
