Capleton, Derrick Sound, Little Lion Sound – Red Again

Produced by Little Lion Sound and Derrick Sound, Red Again is the lead single from Capleton’s upcoming album, Heights Of Fire, his first in over 16 years. The track falls into Capleton’s musical wheelhouse as it blends militant reggae energy with an old-school hip-hop feel.

Masicka, Di Genius – Slip & Slide

Masicka connects with Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor for Slip & Slide, a track built on the Hill & Gully riddim, which is grabbing attention for the way it folds old Jamaican folk memory into a clean, modern dancehall bounce. Di Genius told The Gleaner he wanted to tap into Jamaican culture “on a deeper level” by merging mento influences with younger voices, while Irie FM reported that the riddim had caught the attention of the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission, which used the moment to push traditional dances such as Gerreh and Dinki Mini.

Popcaan – Life Still a Gwaan

Popcaan returns to themes of resilience on Life Still a Gwaan, a Damage Musiq production that serves as a public ledger for his current frustrations. “Fi di Gad touch America you know it is a must,” he sings in one verse, framing his U.S. visa woes as a fight he refuses to lose. He also references Chronic Law’s recent legal troubles abroad in the chorus: “Glad say dem free me bredda 1Law.”

Vybz Kartel, Juju Romillion – Victory

Vybz Kartel continues his post-prison output with Victory, framing his freedom as a literal and symbolic win for his camp. “Victory is one of those songs that resonates because it reflects real-life experiences. It also connects deeply to Kartel’s journey and his release—it’s a true reflection of overcoming and triumph. Vybz Kartel is a lyrical genius—he just keeps delivering hits,” Juju shared.

Jada Kingdom – Still Searching

Jada Kingdom shared visuals for Still Searching, a deliberate rework of Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley’s 2001 classic which appeared on her . Taken from her Just A Girl In A Money Man’s World EP, the track swaps the original’s roots-heavy perspective for Jada’s focus on femininity and control. The song appeared on her Just A Girl In A Money Man’s World EP.

Nigy Boy, Di Genius – Wah Mi Money

The Blind sensation Nigy Boy teams with Di Genius for a Hill & Gully track that prioritizes fiscal demands.

Jaz Elise – Move Mountain

Jaz Elise breaks a year-long silence with “Move Mountain” via Romeich Entertainment. Set on the Love Echoes Riddim by Slyda Di Wizard, the song is a pivot back to breezy, conscious reggae. Jaz described the track as a reflection on personal journeys and the resilience required to navigate them.

In her own words: “It’s about having faith in your ability to overcome whatever stands in your way. No matter what your ‘mountain’ may be, you have the strength to rise above it. You are capable of achieving what you desire, and there is always love in abundance, with goodness waiting to follow you.”

Chronic Law – Like Samson

Taken from his I.C.E (Inside Cold & Empty) EP, Chronic Law shares visuals for Like Samson, a harrowing account of his time in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody. Law details “thirty-two man inna a dorm” and “fifteen minute phone calls,” describing the Everglades facility as an “alligator yard.” It’s a biographical piece of writing that addresses the reports surrounding his recent absence from the scene.

Valiant, Di Genius – Woii

Valiant joins the Di Genius onslaught with Woii. The track leans into his signature “fada” flow, benefiting from the polished riddim McGregor provides.

Elephant Man, Di Genius – Hold Him Gyal

The Energy God attempts to recapture the dance craze era with Hold Him Gyal.

Govana, Di Genius – Itsy Bitsy

Govana serves playful delivery and sharp phrasing on Itsy Bitsy, one of the most instantly catchy cuts from Di Genius’ Hill & Gully Riddim.

Alkaline – Gyal Good

Alkaline closes this list with new visuals for Gyal Good, a standard-fare “gyal tune” from his NPT album.
