Propeller One-Way Night Coach, written, directed, narrated and produced by the 72-year-old Travolta, will premiere on Apple TV on May 29.
The adaptation of the Oscar nominee’s 1997 book of the same name stars his daughter Ella Bleu Travolta, as well as Clark Shotwell, Kelly Eviston-Quinnett and Olga Hoffmann.

Travolta can be heard in the trailer narrating “an experience I would never forget” as young aviation enthusiast Jeff, played by Shotwell, boards the titular flight, which travels to Pittsburgh, Chicago, Kansas City, Denver and Los Angeles.
An awestruck Jeff can be seen marveling at “eating a hot dog at 600 miles an hour” as Doris the stewardess, played by Ella Bleu, 25, smiles.
The “one-way cross country odyssey to Hollywood, which transforms a simple flight into the trip of a lifetime,” as an official synopsis states, includes “unexpected stopovers, larger-than-life passengers, and a thrilling glimpse at first class.”

In April, the 2026 Cannes Film Festival announced that Travolta’s movie will be among the premieres at the French fest, which runs May 12–23.
Travolta is a father to three children with his late wife Kelly Preston, who died at 57 in 2020. The couple shared son Jett, who died at 16 in 2009, as well as daughter Ella Bleu and son Benjamin, 15. The Pulp Fiction star has said that it was his lifelong passion for aviation that inspired him to write and illustrate his family-friendly book.
Propeller One-Way Night Coach premieres globally on Apple TV on May 29. Also among Travolta’s upcoming films is November 1963, a biopic about the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
