- The shot gave a sweet look at their close relationship.
- A source spoke to People yesterday about how Meghan and Harry are raising their kids, especially after Harry’s royal childhood.
Meghan Markle celebrated Archie’s seventh birthday with an Instagram tribute last night. The post gave a very rare look at his relationship with his younger sister, Lilibet.
Meghan shared a baby photo of Archie and a photo of him now with Lili on the beach. “7 years later…happy birthday to our sweet boy 🤍,” she wrote.
Meghan last gave a glimpse of her two children together in early April. She shared a video of them running as they began their Easter egg hunt.
On May 6, a source spoke to People about how Meghan and Harry are raising Lili and Archie. “They give their kids space to be themselves—for their different personalities to flourish,” the source said. “After growing up so publicly, that was really important to Harry.”
Meghan discussed how she and Harry have sought to give their children an upbringing largely out of the public eye in a March 2025 interview with People.
She didn’t want to film her Netflix show With Love, Meghan at her Montecito, California home because “I wanted to protect that safe haven,” she said. “We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments—putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day. Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that’s a lot of people to have in your house!”
She also spoke about including her daughter, Lili, in the initial launch of her brand, As Ever. (Lili also recently appeared in Meghan’s As Ever and High Camp Supply collaboration campaign, which both Archie and Lili helped her shoot.)
“Being able to have my own little girl, as I’ve spent so much of my life championing the rights of girls and women, and to be able to see this as a multigenerational story—Archie is of course included in that, my husband is of course included in that—but I love the heritage feeling of it and knowing this is something that I can create in front of my daughter and teach her what it’s like to be a working mom,” she said. “This is something that hopefully can be part of her legacy too.”
