Katy Perry, Michael Buble and Alanis Morissette are among the artists who will perform during three opening ceremonies at the football World Cup next month.
The tournament is being held across North America with Canada, Mexico and the United States all staging an opening ceremony ahead of their opening games on June 11 and 12.
Organisers FIFA confirmed some of the stars who will perform ahead of the global showpiece, saying in a statement: “Each ceremony is connected by a shared creative thread that reimagines the FIFA World Cup Trophy through the lens of each host country’s culture.”

The tournament starts with Mexico v South Africa on June 11 when a 90-minute pre-match show in Mexico City will include Alejandro Fernandez, Belinda and Danny Ocean.
The following day Katy Perry, Future and Tyla will be among the headliners at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, with Alanis Morissette and Michael Buble performing in Toronto.
