Billie Eilish plans to stay far away from cosmetic surgery.
The 24-year-old sat down with Good Hang With Amy Poehler, revealing she has no plans for facelifts or fillers and is actively looking forward to naturally aging without interference.
“I am so excited to age, and I’m so excited for my face to age and my body to age and not change it,” she said on the episode at around the 31:15 minute mark.
The nine-time Grammy winner pointed to her future children as the primary reason she intends to avoid cosmetic procedures. “I want my kids to look at me and have my face look like their face and not be some botched version of whatever the f**k is going on out there right now,” she told Poehler.
Eilish also reflected on how her sense of self has shifted since her teenage years. “I never thought I would not be a teenager,” she said. “I remember when I was 17, I was like, ‘OK, I am the person I’ll be forever right now.’ And that’s not how it works, obviously.” She described herself as someone who now embraces both physical and personal change and is eager to watch it unfold.
Her stance today is a refinement of views she shared in 2021, when she told The Guardian that cosmetic work itself was not the issue.
“It’s completely fine to get work done—do this, do that, do what makes you feel happy,” she said at the time. What she pushed back on then was the denial of it: “It’s just when you deny it and say, ‘Oh, I got this all on my own, and if you just tried harder, you could get it.’ That makes me literally furious. It is so bad for young women—and boys, too =—to see that.”
