Greta Van Fleet put an end to breakup rumors after posting a new video on social media showing the band in the studio.
The controversy began after they released a clip with a retrospective of the group’s career, accompanied by a message that raised doubts: “Thank you for the incredible journey. With love, Josh, Jake, Sam and Daniel.” The content led many fans to believe that the quartet had ended their activities.
Now, the band has responded to the speculation with a more relaxed video. In the post, the musicians appear working on new material and use the phrase: “We’re back, guys!”. The clip also includes a preview of new music.
Greta Van Fleet had been inactive on Instagram since July 2025. At that time, they celebrated the two-year anniversary of their album Starcatcher (2023). Their last show took place in September 2024, during the Seaside Park festival in the United States. During this period, members pursued side projects. Jake Kiszka worked with the band Mirador, while Sam Kiszka and Danny Wagner participated in recordings with Langhorne Slim.
