Kicking off the long-awaited start of a new era, Brad Paisley announced this morning that he’ll be returning to the road for more dates this year on his self-named headlining tour.

Joined by one of the best voices behind the classic country revival scene, Jake Worthington, Paisley will continue out on a new extension of his 2026 tour later this summer, adding on to his previously announced shows and festivals throughout the summer in the US and Europe. Returning to the stage for 12 new stops, on August 27 in Bridgeport, MA, Paisley will skip across mainly the East Coast, wrapping things up in Texas on October 9.

This tour will also usher in an exciting return with new music, a whopping nine years after his last official album release, Love And War in 2017 (not counting his recent 2025 Christmas project). Uniquely, this new project, Tacklebox, will be an ongoing catalog that just keeps building, featuring new tracks and some unreleased material from the beginning of his career.

Taking things back to his ’90s roots, some of these songs will draw from the classic sounds of country greats like Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn, and Alabama, as well as teeter the line of 80s influences like George Strait and Garth Brooks. According to Paisley, this “never-ending project” will continue to be hosted on his website. “It’s almost like the fans have a direct link to my Dropbox or to a playlist that never ends.”

“We are calling it Tacklebox because it’s a box full of hooks, country lyric hooks. In this digital age, I have every song I’ve ever written at my fingertips. This project gave us a license to dig back into the catalog of songs that were never released, that feel like a time period, a style of writing, a sound, and nostalgia.” Adding, “When I first started writing and recording music, I couldn’t have dreamed of the ability to put something out instantly for the fans.”

Giving a first glimpse into the pure nostalgia-fueled material to come, today, Paisley also dropped his first single, “Fallin’,” which comes from his personal ’90s vault and is certified steel guitar-heavy pure country gold. Revisiting one of his standout hits, Paisley will also make an appearance on tonight’s American Idol finale, joining previous contestant, Lucas Leon, for a performance of his third number one single, “I’m Gonna Miss Her.”

As for the Brad Paisley Live Tour, ticket presale for Paisley Nation fan club members will begin on Tuesday, May 12, at 10 am local time, with general onsale to follow.
