Her latest in a string of appearances—first in London, and now back on her home turf—she was seen leaving the West Village’s Eighty Six in a crystal-embellished Valentino minidress.

But the piece, with its sparkling spaghetti straps, bow neckline, and black crepe body, not only drew attention for its dazzling accents—but, like most things Swift does, for its potential hidden meaning.
