The Pittsburgh Steelers will go abroad to Paris this upcoming season rather than taking on the New Orleans Saints in the bayou.
The clash is part of the the NFL’s record nine international games during the 2026 campaign, one former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Chris Simms believes this is “the greatest international slate of games we’ve ever put out there,” he said on “Chris Simms Unbuttoned.” “Most years, I come away and look at it and go, ‘These people in London aren’t gonna like this game.’ … I feel like we finally went, ‘Hey, let’s put some of our heavy hitters over there.’”

The San Francisco 49ers play the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne in Week 1, then the Baltimore Ravens take on the Dallas Cowboys in Rio de Janeiro in Week 3.
The Indianapolis Colts face off with the Washington Commanders in London in Week 4, then the Jacksonville Jaguars have back-to-back outings across the pond, squaring off with the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5 and the Houston Texans in Week 6.
There’s one pairing that Simms doesn’t seem to be particularly enamored with.
“I know they had to do the fleur-de-lis in Paris, so you’ve got that, with Pittsburgh coming to town,” Simms said of the Steelers’ Week 7 fixture. “That, to me, is probably the most underwhelming matchup of all of these right here.”
