Lady Louise Windsor was all smiles on Friday as she got stuck into her part-time job at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
The young royal, who is King Charles‘s niece, has been working behind-the-scenes at the show for several years, HELLO! revealed earlier this month.
Lady Louise, 22, who has been wrapping up her English degree at the University of St Andrews, looked carefree as she strolled around the showground, clearly relieved to be free from exam stress.
Wearing practical high brown boots paired with a checked skirt and white coat, she looked very professional with her official blue badge bearing her full name, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor.

She was seen laughing with her lookalike mother, Duchess Sophie, who is also very involved in the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
Lady Louise is not a working royal, so the four-day event is a rare opportunity for her to be seen in public after she was absent from recent royal family events, such as the Easter service.
Lady Louise’s new job
HELLO! understands that the young royal takes on a part-time job at the show, held in the grounds of Windsor Castle, every year. She is often seen carriage driving at the show, a hobby inspired by her late grandfather, Prince Philip, and this year she is helping to organise the event, receiving a paid salary for her work.
A source told us that Lady Louise previously requested a job in the offices during her university summer holidays and was “very polite and helpful” as she was put to work doing administrative tasks, such as sealing envelopes.

The insider told us: “Duchess Sophie and Prince Edward provided Lady Louise and her brother James with as normal an upbringing as possible, and this is clearly reflected in her work ethic.
“She is very grounded and down-to-earth, you wouldn’t know she was a royal. It was her idea to ask for a part-time job. She’s very hard-working.”

Event director Jo Peck, who has met Lady Louise several times, described her as a “gentle soul”, “bright as a button”, and “very, very keen” on her carriage driving, while others say she “keeps herself to herself”.

Lady Louise’s parents, Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie, are very involved in the show as president and vice-president, respectively, and are said to “pop in and out” as they please. They hold a traditional reception every year for competitors at Windsor Castle on the Thursday evening before the show begins.
Lady Louise, meanwhile, is understood to be competing in the show later in the week.
It’s unknown what she will be doing after leaving St Andrews, but former royal press secretary Aisla Anderson previously speculated on HELLO!‘s A Right Royal Podcast that she could go into the “military”.
