Orange County’s live entertainment scene is getting a massive upgrade next year. Set to open in early 2027, the highly anticipated OCVIBE Concert Hall will be a state-of-the-art, 5,000-person-capacity venue in the heart of Anaheim.
It serves as a cornerstone of the growing $4 billion OCVIBE entertainment district surrounding Anaheim’s Honda Center, a 100-acre landscape which will feature a sprawling urban park, a 21-kitchen market food hall, and more.
Inside Anaheim’s newest concert hall
Global architecture firm Populous is the team behind the 5,000-seat OCVIBE Concert Hall design. In tandem with the existing 18,000-seat Honda Center and the planned 300-seat Golden Bear venue (slated to open in 2029), the OCVIBE campus will ultimately support everything from emerging acts to major award shows.
The venue prioritizes backstage hospitality with private bungalow-style artist suites and a backstage courtyard, as well as an unforgettable fan experience. The intimate, three-tiered seating bowl offers great sightlines from every angle, and pairs nicely with a world-class sound system.
Excitingly, the concert hall’s projected opening date is sooner than think: fans can check it out in early 2027!
OCVIBE’s 100-acre vision
The brand new concert hall is just one piece of a much larger district taking shape in Anaheim. OCVIBE is a $4 billion, 100-acre, transit-oriented public gathering space that is completely transforming the Honda Center area.
The concert hall will open around the same time as Katella Commons, a huge food hall with 21 kitchens and 6 bars and lounges; a gorgeous landscaped Urban Park with 3 miles of walkable trails, and an outdoor public art gallery.
By its anticipated completion in 2033, OCVIBE will boast 20 new acres of open space, more than 2,000 residences, two hotels, and over 35 distinct dining experiences.
