Queen Elizabeth II made a “sweet gesture” to Meghan Markle on her wedding day on this day in 2018. The late Queen was spotted in a car on the way to the wedding venue with Meghan’s beloved beagle, Guy. A video shared on social media shows the adorable pup looking out the window of a Range Rover as the pair made their way to St George’s Chapel.
Royal fans have appeared to reminisce on the sweet video, with one fan taking to X to comment: “The Queen did something for Meghan that she has never done for any family member before. Escorted Meghan’s dog Guy to the wedding. Such a sweet caring gesture from the Monarch.”
