Crocker Park Wine Festival returns for 15th year; tickets on sale

The Crocker Park Wine Festival returns Sept. 18 and 19 in Westlake for people to experience a weekend of wine tastings, food and entertainment for its 15th year, according to a news release.

Presented by Market District and Westland Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing, the two-day event brings together premier sponsors, more than 150 wine varieties both local and from around the world, and a vibrant mix of beer, spirits, food, music and local vendors, all in support of long-term beneficiary University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.

Set amongst the walkable streets of Crocker Park, 189 Crocker Park Blvd., the festival continues to blend celebration, community and cause into one signature Cleveland-area experience, the release said.

“The Crocker Park Wine Festival holds meaningful value not only for us, but for the entire community,” said Stacie Schmidt, vice president of marketing and communications for Stark Enterprises, in the release. “As we celebrate the festival’s 15th year, we’re proud to continue a tradition that brings people together for a fun, welcoming weekend — enjoying great wine, beer, spirits, music and food — while also supporting University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.

“It’s an event so many families and friends return to year-after-year, and we invite everyone to come experience it and make it their own tradition.”

• Sept. 18 will feature live music from Yearbook from 4-6 p.m. and BackTraxx from 7-10 p.m. on Main Street between Crocker Park Boulevard and Market Street.

• Sept. 19 will feature live music from Jump the Gun from 2:30–5:30 p.m. and Funkology from 6:30-10 p.m. on Main Street between Crocker Park Boulevard and Market Street.

Guests can expect to receive tastings from a wide variety of more than 150 wine, beer, and spirits vendors, according to the release.

There also will be opportunities to learn directly from vineyard representatives and producers.

In addition, popular Crocker Park restaurants will be on hand for food offerings, the release said.

The Crocker Park Wine Festival also is supported support community partners Integrity Home Group, Merrill Lynch of Westlake, Westlake Plastic Surgery, Kleinhenz Jewelry and Hyatt Place, according to the release.

Early bird pricing is $30 per ticket or $50 for a weekend pass and goes through July 31 and will increase after that, so get your tickets today, the release said.
