Watch fireworks, enjoy live music and indulge in strawberry shortcake from Knights of Columbus at Verona Hometown Days, Hometown USA Festival Park. The festival will feature a carnival, petting zoo, parade, beer tent and more with a full schedule of events on the website. The festival is free to attend, and carnival wristbands cost $30 for unlimited rides. The grounds are open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, noon to midnight on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
