Zoey Deutch is on a fantastical quest in her new movie: journeying to the magical land of Los Angeles and seducing Jon Hamm.
Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass, in theaters July 10, says it all in the title: Deutch, 31, plays Gail, an innocent girl from Kansas who agrees with her fiancé (Michael Cassidy) that each has a “free pass” for one celebrity of their choosing.
As the comedy’s newly released trailer shows, when Gail’s soon-to-be-husband unexpectedly gets the chance to close the deal with his celebrity crush (an A-list cameo we won’t spoil here), it’s up to the plucky hairdresser to pursue her own.

“I had a celebrity free pass thing with my fiancé but he took it literally, so now I need to have sex with Jon Hamm to even out the score and save my relationship,” she explains to Ben Wang.
His response: “He did the deed, now you gotta do the do.”
Deutch’s Gail enlists the help of Otto (Miles Gutierrez-Riley), Caleb (Wang), Vincent (Ken Marino) and John Slattery (playing a hilariously downtrodden version of himself) to track down Hamm in his home turf of Hollywood. The Emmy-winning Hamm, 55, plays himself in all his celeb-crush-worthy glory.

Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass reunites Wet Hot American Summer director David Wain with co-writer and frequent collaborator Marino, 57. Sabrina Impacciatore, Joe Lo Truglio, Mather Zickel, Tobie Windham, Fred Melamed, Michael Ian Black, Kerri Kenney-Silver and Richard Kind costar, with several members of the real-life Hollywood community making appearances as themselves.
