At the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, Heidi Klum sparked a fresh wave of conversation about how much her son, Henry Samuel, resembles his famous father, Seal. The 20-year-old joined Klum and her husband, Tom Kaulitz, at the annual amfAR Gala in Cap d’Antibes, France, where Henry’s striking resemblance to the Grammy-winning singer immediately grabbed attention.
According to People, Klum arrived in a dramatic black-and-white corset gown with a full black skirt, while Henry coordinated with a tailored black suit featuring metallic leaf embroidery. With his facial structure, smile, and overall presence, Henry looked remarkably similar to Seal during the singer’s late-’90s and early-2000s rise to fame.
The gala itself remains one of Cannes’ highest-profile charity events, benefiting amfAR, which has raised hundreds of millions of dollars for AIDS research and treatment programs worldwide since the mid-1980s. This year’s event featured performances from Robbie Williams, Zara Larsson, and PinkPantheress, adding another layer of celebrity power to the evening.
Henry has increasingly become a regular fixture alongside his mother at major public events over the last year. Earlier this month, Klum explained why she enjoys bringing him to red carpets.
“To be honest, because my husband has been traveling so much and I didn’t want to go alone,” she said. “So Henry has been like, ‘I’ll come with you, mom.’ And I’m like, ‘This is fabulous.’”
She also reflected on how different these events feel to someone experiencing them for the first time. “It’s fun to experience things through the eyes of someone who is really young, and everything is still so exciting,” Klum said, adding that she appreciates that Henry is “proud to be on my side.”
Henry is one of Klum and Seal’s three biological children together. The former couple married in 2005 after welcoming Klum’s daughter Leni, whom Seal later adopted.
During their relationship, the pair became one of the entertainment industry’s most recognizable celebrity couples, famously renewing their vows annually before separating in 2012.
Klum later married Kaulitz in 2019 after making their relationship public during another Cannes Film Festival appearance.
