Live Nation continues to strengthen its foothold in Latin America with another major deal. The major promoter has forged a strategic partnership with Daley Play Live, and the agreement includes Live Nation acquiring a majority stake in the Argentinian entertainment company.

Founder and CEO Federico Lauria will continue to lead Dale Play Live’s creative and strategic direction, and his expertise will help Live Nation build a cultural connection with Argentina’s current artists as well as the new generations of talent and audiences.

It’s yet another major addition for Live Nation in Argentina. The live entertainment giant acquired a majority stake in Argentine promoter DF Entertainment back in 2018, and the latest deal with Dale Play allows Live Nation to not only develop talent within the region but to help them grow beyond their borders. According to a release announcing the deal, DF Entertainment will have a key role in the expansion of international live music events in the country.

“Buenos Aires is the second largest music market in South America and a priority for Live Nation,” said Michael Rapino, president and CEO of Live Nation Entertainment. “The addition of Dale Play complements our existing partnership with DF Entertainment and strengthens our commitment to Argentina and the growth of Spanish-language music in the region and throughout the world.”

Staying On Target: Live Nation Continues To Expand Its Global Footprint, Strengthening Its Position In Major Markets

Dale Play Live is the live entertainment arm of Dale Play, an influential company that has been essential to the urbano movement in the region, working with artists like Bizarrap, Duki, Rels B and Nicki Nicole. Noah Assad’s Rimas Entertainment, which is the home of global superstar Bad Bunny, purchased a significant stake in Dale Play last year.

“Dale Play was founded with the vision of supporting artists and building a platform that empowers them to grow locally and globally,” said Lauria. “Being partners with Live Nation represents a tremendous opportunity to continue expanding artists from Argentina and Latin America to the world.”

Pollstar has reported on Live Nation’s continued growth and expansion over the past decade, especially in Latin American nations. In 2025, the promoter’s capital expenditures, primarily investments in venues and ticketing systems, exceeded $1 billion, a 66% increase over the previous year’s $632.63 million. They attributed that growth to venue expansion and enhancements across North America and Latin America.

In January, the company announced a majority investment in Bizarro Peru, strengthening its presence in a developing market, specifically in Lima, the nation’s capital, where Live Nation is opening an 18,500-cap arena.

Live Nation also recently invested in one of the busiest venues in all Latin America, acquiring a majority stake in Santiago, Chile’s Movistar Arena. The building was among the top-grossing arenas in the world with over 2 million tickets sold last year.
