Hype is building for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and this morning some huge names have been announced as co-headliners for the halftime show for the final on July 19.
This is the first time the world cup will hold a halftime show and Madonna, Shakira and K-pop group, BTS, will all perform at the New Jersey game.
Coldplay’s Chris Martin is the curator behind the performance and he made the announcement with Sesame Street‘s Elmo early this morning.
And Australia is also playing a part in bringing the performance together, with Melbourne man Hugh Evans working behind the scenes with his company Global Citizen to make it all happen.
