Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were present for Peter Phillips‘ big day.
Despite Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson‘s scandals, the sisters, along with Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and Eugenie’s spouse, Jack Brooksbank, were present for their cousin’s wedding to Harriet Sperling.

“I thought it was quite brave of Beatrice and Eugenie to show up knowing that the cameras would be on them,” the expert told The Mirror.
“They’ve had a lot of highly critical press lately and it can’t have been easy for them to face the media,” she continued. “But they did seem to keep quite a low profile, particularly as the bridal party left the church.”
Giving the newlyweds the spotlight
Bond also pointed out that Beatrice and Eugenie tried to fly under the radar to avoid being distraction from Peter and his bride.

“I’m sure they were determined not to draw any of the limelight from the bride and groom, who looked incredibly happy and relaxed together,” the reporter noted.
Also in attendance were King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William,Kate Middleton and Zara Tindall. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not invited to the bash.
Andrew and Sarah not invited to the wedding
The former Duke and Duchess of York were not included on the guest list after they were stripped of their titles and evicted from Royal Lodge over their ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew was also arrested in February for suspicion of misconduct in public office for allegedly giving the late criminal information while he was the U.K.’s trade envoy.

“It’s Peter and Harriet’s special day and clearly their attendance would cause a distraction to the whole day,” the source told Daily Express.
“When and whether Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson had been invited, it was probably not deemed appropriate to invite them,” the insider said.
Calls for Beatrice and Eugenie to be stripped of their titles
While their parents are banished from The Firm, many have called for Beatrice and Eugenie to give up their titles.

“Now that their father has been stripped of his titles and their mother can no longer use hers, they might like to quietly drop the use of theirs,” Bond previously told The Mirror.
“I don’t see the need for them to renounce them publicly, but it might be prudent to sever links with the York name — now so very tarnished —and just use their married names,” she added.
“I can’t see King Charles III stripping them of their titles — unless they become implicated in some sort of abuse of their status, of which there is no evidence at present,” the reporter noted. “But this is a difficult time for both women and they might do well to keep their heads down and get on with their jobs and family lives.”
