The Royals open a six-game home stand on Tuesday night, and if you’re planning to attend one of the contests against the Rangers or Astros, things will look different when you get to the Truman Sports Complex.
Because of the World Cup games that will take place at Kansas City Stadium (the temporary name for Arrowhead Stadium), parking will be restricted in certain areas.
Here is what to know about parking at Royals games during the World Cup.
- Lots D and E will not be open
- Parts of Lots C, F and G won’t be open
- The Tailgate Lot was moved from Lot N to Lot L
Despite the restrictions in parking, there should be little issue for fans in finding a place for their vehicle given the size of the parking lot. And, beginning Thursday, a special bus line from the Connect KC26 Region Direct service will take fans to the Truman Sports Complex during Royals home games.
“The complex contains many different parking lots,” the Royals wrote on their website. “Since the Royals season will coincide with the FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, Truman Sports Complex will be utilizing parking space based on the occurring event. For fans attending Royals games throughout the summer, please purchase parking in advance … and check back here for updated information.”
Here is a map that shows the lot closures.
