Shep Rose and ex Taylor Ann Green reunited on the third anniversary of the death of her brother Worth.
“Some of the finest people I’ve ever known,” the Southern Charm star, 46, wrote via his Instagram Story on Monday, June 8, alongside a snap of the reality TV star alongside, Green, 31, and her parents. “On the anniversary of the fellow rapscallion Worth’s passing. Lots of memories and laughter.”
Rose, Green and her parents gathered for a meal. The group enjoyed a bottle of wine as they reminisced.
Green and Rose dated from 2020 to 2022. One year after their split, Green revealed that Worth died in June 2023 at age 36.
“Not enough words can encapsulate who Worth was and the impact he left behind. June 8th, 2023 The Lord called you home,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “We are going to miss your goofiness, your bear hugs, and that infectious laugh. I will always admire the steadfast love you had for your family, friends (too many to count), your girlfriend and Jesus Christ. You truly went out on top of your game and we so look forward to seeing you again one day♥️Blessed are the cracked, for they are the ones who let light in. -Groucho Marx.”
While grieving the loss of her brother, Rose immediately offered his support to Green and her family.
“After my brother’s passing, he was one of the first people to show up,” Green said of how Rose was there for her during a January 2024 episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. “He drove up to Raleigh and was there to be with me and my family, and so that was really big. He was good friends with my brother.”
Rose’s gesture and support showed Green that he was a friend she could count on — and they’ve been close friends ever since.
After her split from Rose, Green moved on with Gaston Rojas. The pair started dating in September 2023. However, they called it quits earlier this year. During an appearance on the “Viall Files” podcast earlier this month, Green revealed that she and Rojas ended their relationship due to “fundamental differences.”
Green also addressed the rumors that she and Rose were getting back together.
“I have seen the rumors that we’re getting back together or hooking up again or whatever, and that is not true,” she explained. “Even if I wanted to hook up with Shep again or get back together, I would hope I have a little bit more respect for myself to go from one cheating ex to the other.”
Green also shared that she doesn’t think Rose would be interested in reconciling their romance.
“Shep is a very logical human being and he’s not the type of person to be like, ‘Yeah, let’s do it. Let’s get back together,’” she said. “He would inevitably say, ‘No, I don’t think that that’s the right thing to do.’ He cares about me as a human being and has always cared about me very deeply and even in my time of, you know, kind of throwing him under the bus and giving him a lot of s***.”
