‘Annie’ at The Topfer at Zach
Zach Theater will present the musical “Annie,” about a young orphan who hopes to find her perfect family. The musical is led by associate artistic director Cassie Abate, with musical direction from Spencer Hansen and choreography from Kiira Carper. The production features a youth and adult cast with a run time of two hours and 30 minutes, with a 20-minute intermission.

Zilker Theatre Productions ‘Singin’ in the Rain’
Zilker Theatre Productions will host its 67th annual summer show, “Singin’ in the Rain,” at Zilker Hillside Theatre. The family-friendly production is free and open to the public every Thursday-Sunday.
Zero Waste Resource Fair
Austin Resource Recovery will host a sustainability fair at the Montopolis Recreation and Community Center. Austin residents can learn about multi-family housing composting, pick up a free kitchen compost collector if they live in an apartment or condo and grab a snack.
Austin Public Library 100th Birthday Bash
The Austin Public Library will host its centennial celebration at the central library location. The birthday bash will feature crafts, party crowns and party games.
Y’all Dinner
Future Front Texas will host a five-course dinner, natural wine tastings and a martini bar series with chef Deepa Shridhar. The menu will feature South Indian-Texan dishes and all proceeds will support the event’s talent and Future Front programs.
Hot Summer Nights
The Red River Cultural District will host its annual free summer music festival with performances at Chess Club, Kingdom, Stubb’s, Swan Dive and more. The festival will also include a Hot Summer Night Market on July 18 at Liberty Lunch by Future Front Texas.
Rodeo Room Sessions: Comedy Night with Top Flight Comedy
Renaissance Austin Downtown Hotel is hosting a monthly comedy showcase. The live entertainment series will feature a lineup of stand-up comedians and attendees are invited to arrive early to dine at the Swim Club located in the hotel.
Summer Stock Austin’s ‘Newsies’
Impact Arts’ summer program, Summer Stock Austin, will feature a production of Disney’s “Newsies.” The musical is based on the 1899 Newsboys Strike and follows the story of community organizing, resilience and camaraderie. The production will also include special events, including ASL-interpreted and audio-described performances, sensory-friendly performances and Spanish-interpreted performances.
