Kaonashi have announced a re-release pre-order of their first three EPs: Native, Ex-Prayers, and Never Home, in celebration of Never Home Fest 2026. The $325 Wax Vessel boxset has already sold out, but SGR Distro has a splatter version of the boxset for $100 cheaper. Both will ship around Quarter 1 & 2 of 2027.
The band released the following statement in an Instagram post:
If you haven’t been following along, the three of us have been working together to create the world‘s best early discography record set. It’s been probably five years in the making at this point. If you’d like the full rundown, please head over to WV or SGR Facebook for some long form details. “Three albums. Fully re-recorded. Vinyl exclusive for who knows how long. OG versions as well. Fully bespoke, custom packaging. Native, Ex-Prayers and Never Home on vinyl to for the first and last time.”
As a thanks, the band have released a music video for the band’s 2015 track, “Flow,” which was previously considered lost media. The music video features the band in the same church from their “When I Say” music video.
