Malcolm isn’t in the middle anymore.
On Monday, June 8, rapidly-rising singer-songwriter Malcolm Todd announced he’s hitting theaters, music halls, amphitheaters, ballrooms, squares, parks, auditoriums and forums all over North America this fall on his ‘Do That Again Tour.’
That includes seven (!) shows in California for the Los Angeles native. His final three concerts of the nationwide run are slated to go down at his hometown Greek Theatre. They’re slated to take place:
Wednesday, Oct. 28
8 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 29
8 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 30
8 p.m.
Other Golden State gigs include two spots at Oakland’s Fox Theatre (Oct. 21-22), a one-off at San Diego’s PETCO Park (Oct. 24) and an appearance at San Francisco’s Outside Lands Festival on Aug. 7.
Headliners joining him at the three-day Bay Area extravaganza include Charli XCX, RÜFÜS DÜ SOL, The Strokes, The XX and Turnstile among others.
All performances come in support of the 22-year-old’s recently-released second studio album “Do That Again,” which shares a name with the tour and hit shelves on June 5.

Rolling Stone raved “the music might evoke a modern homespun permutation of greats like Daryl Hall and John Oates or even Prince, and the lyrics add new wrinkles to classic pop heartbreak” in a glowing four-star review.
Tickets for all Malcolm Todd ‘Do That Again’ shows officially went on sale on Thursday, June 11.

Malcolm Todd new music
On June 5, Malcolm Todd released his second studio album “Do That Again.”
The moody yet blissful record gets underway with the theatrical, one-minute “Jean Skirt” that sets the tone- this thing is going to be fun but with a touch of melancholia over dreamy instrumentals.
Just a few of our favorite tracks on the 13-track record include the haunting epic “Free.99,” the hypnotic Timberlake-esque bop “Breathe,” chilled-out ballad “Difficult Love,” jangly, tongue-in-cheek “Malcolm in the Middle” and soaring anthem “Ain’t That The Truth.”
Don’t check out early either. “Do That Again” finishes strong with the intimate ear-worm “Lonely Song,” strummy jam “Good Bye” and almost shoegaze fist-pumper title track “Do That Again.”
