Jennifer Lopez revealed a certain movie that caught her attention more than others.
Lopez, 56, proved to be just like Us when discussing the True Romance cast during a Wednesday, June 10, episode of Brett Goldstein’s “Films to Be Buried With” podcast.
When her Office Romance costar, 45, asked Lopez which movie gave her a “troubling boner,” she quickly named True Romance. “There are all these very seedy characters in the movie,” she explained.
“You have Christian Slater, who works in this record store and has hallucinations of Elvis — who’s played by Val Kilmer,” Lopez said, proving her point. “And then you have Patricia Arquette, who couldn’t be better as the hooker with the heart of gold, the sweetest.”
“I would have had sex with any one of them!” she added. “That is the truth, which says a lot about me, but maybe, like, the dark side of me. But all of them were so incredibly f***ing good in this movie.”
Lopez shared that she was even turned on by Gary Oldman’s character Drexl Spivey’s “gold teeth” and “dreads,” as well as Arquette, 58, who was “still sexy” after her character got beaten up. “You still wanna kinda kiss her on the lips. You know what I mean? It’s crazy, that movie,” she said.
As far as other movies that she “found arousing that [she wasn’t sure she] should,” Lopez gushed about West Side Story, Flashdance, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, I’m Still Here and The Notebook, the latter of which she got emotional about immediately.

“I could cry right now thinking about it,” she said. “I feel like it’s what everybody in their mind really wants, is to have that type of connection with a person and to love someone that deeply that you just can’t imagine your life without them.” She added, “I just thought there’s nothing more romantic.”
As for her own love life, Lopez is currently single. She was previously married to Ben Affleck, whom she tied the knot with in 2022. The couple got married at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas before hosting a lavish wedding at Affleck’s estate in Georgia. The couple officially separated in April 2024 and finalized their divorce in January 2025.
Affleck was also married to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998. She then found love with Cris Judd and tied the knot with him in 2001. Two years later, they got divorced. Lopez then married Marc Anthony, with whom she shares 18-year-old twins Max and Emme. The parents went their separate ways in 2014.
