She’s already a Grammy winner from her work with Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway. She’s already been a Grammy nominee as a solo artist with her previous album from 2025, I Built A World. She’s also a 2-time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year. As she starts the next phase of her musical career, Bronwyn Keith-Hines does so as an incredibly accomplished musician and performer. But from now on, she will only go by her distinctive first name, Bronwyn.
What will not change is her deep commitment to sharing the virtues and her enthusiasm for bluegrass. As you can hear from the album’s lead single “Sticks and Stones” (listen below), she’s not striving for pop stardom. She’s here to spread the appeal for bluegrass. But one thing that is different from her previous album is Bronwyn’s now doing the majority of the songwriting.
“My intention was to create a collection of songs that I would want to play live every night with my band. ‘What turns me on? What would I want to listen to?’ And I wanted to make a record that you’d want to turn up so loud, it’d rattle your bones.”

So Rattlin’ Bones it is, with a release date of August 14th. It was recorded at the studio of SteelDrivers mandolin player Brent Truitt in Nashville. Truitt co-produced the album with Bronwyn.
Along with featuring contributions from her road band of mandolinist Tristan Scroggins, banjoist Frank Evans, and bassist Larry Cook, Rattlin’ Bones also features a cavalcade of top line contributors.
This includes Jerry Douglas on dobro, guitarists Bryan Sutton and Frank Rische, mandolinist Harry Clark, bassists Dennis Crouch and Jeff Picker, banjoist Wes Corbett from the Sam Bush Band, drummer Miles Miller from the Sturgill Simpson universe, and Bronwyn’s former Golden Highway bandmate Dominick Leslie.
Beyond all this bluegrass star power, the album also features a duet with beloved east Nashville underground country hero Timbo, as well as harmonies from Darrell Scott.
Rattin’ Bones is now available for pre-save.
