Prolific comedian King Bach is coming to the screen.
Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor has announced his first-ever stand-up comedy special, Like, Share, and Comment. The special will premiere on his YouTube channel Bachelors Pad TV, on June 18.
Bach came to fame in the early 2010s on platforms like YouTube, and the now-defunct Vine, on which, creators would post six-second clips, getting creative with their writing and humor. Bach’s jokes would often lean into stereotypes, as well as cultural commentary. In addition to internet videos, Bach has performed several stand-up shows around the world, and had roles in shows and movies like Holidate, Greenland, The Babysitter, Meet the Blacks, Paramount+’s Hate the Player: The Ben Johnson Story and Netflix’s Sneakerheads.
According to Deadline, who reported the news of the stand-up special on Wednesday, June 10, the special will feature Bach discussing topics like relationships, as well as navigating social media fame. With Like, Share, and Comment, Bach hopes that viewers and fans will see a different side to him.
“After 16 years of doing standup, this special isn’t just me telling jokes; it’s me finally letting people see the version of King Bach they haven’t met yet,” Bach said to the publication. “The internet knows the sketches, the movies, but on that stage, it’s just me, my truth, my life, and the funniest pain I’ve ever survived. I can’t wait for people to watch it, laugh, and say, ‘Oh, I never knew!’”
Like, Share, and Comment was filmed at the San Jose Improv in December 2024 and directed by Jo Koy. Bach wrote the special in its entirety, and production was handled by Michelle Caputo and Shannon Hartman. In addition to Like, Share, and Comment, Bach will have new acting roles this year, including Violent Night 2, Goodbye Girl and Roadhouse 2.
