The Juneteenth Jubilee will return to downtown Fayetteville on Friday, June 19, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Festival Park. It’s totally free.

Performances from national touring acts will fill the evening. Area talent and community groups will also take the stage throughout the six-hour program. This marks the return of the annual celebration to downtown.
The celebration comes four days after Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. The holiday falls on June 19 each year—the date in 1865 when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced freedom for enslaved people. That moment changed everything.
Again, no admission fee will be charged. Families and individuals from across the region can attend without cost.
