Poppy has released a new music video for “Dying to Forget,” one of the standout tracks from her recently released album, Empty Hands.

Directed by Orie McGuiness, who previously collaborated with Poppy on the videos for “Guardian,” “Bruised Sky,” and “Time Will Tell,” the clip places the singer and her band in a dark industrial setting surrounded by a crowd of fans brought in specifically for the shoot. The video also features appearances from Isaac Hale of Knocked Loose and Stephen Harrison of House of Protection, both of whom are credited as writers on the song.

The video arrives in support of Empty Hands, Poppy’s seventh studio album. The record blends industrial influences, pop experimentation, and heavy music while continuing to showcase the genre-defying style that has made her one of alternative music’s most distinctive artists.

Following recent tour dates across Australia and Europe, Poppy will soon launch the North American leg of her Constantly Nowhere Tour with support from Landmvrks and Thousand Below. The run begins July 7 in Washington, D.C. and includes stops in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, and more.
