Celebs who will be honoured at Padma Awards 2026
After the initial Padma Awards investiture ceremony for 2026, the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, will present 65 awards at the subsequent ceremony. The first ceremony took place on May 25, while the second is scheduled for today at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. The 65 Padma awards will include two Padma Vibhushan, seven Padma Bhushan, and 56 Padma Shri. During the first ceremony, the late actor Dharmendra was honored with the Padma Vibhushan, which was received posthumously by his wife, Hema Malini. Today, three additional figures from the entertainment industry will be recognized.

She will be honored with the Padma Bhushan. Upon the announcement of the awards, the singer expressed, “I am profoundly thankful to the Government of India for granting me the Padma Bhushan. After many years in the film and music industry, this recognition feels both humbling and deeply moving.”
