NEW BERN, Craven County — Performers will take the Howard Matthews Memorial Stage during MumFest 2026.
The stage will feature performances every hour throughout MumFest weekend on October 10 and 11.
Organizers said the stage will showcase artists who help make the community special.
The Howard Matthews Memorial Stage honors Howard Matthews, a longtime friend of MumFest who helped coordinate entertainment for the event.
Matthews also supported performers who appeared on the stage over the years.
After his passing in 2025, Swiss Bear named the community stage in his honor to recognize his contributions.
Organizers also thanked Arnie Osborn for helping schedule this year’s performers.
MumFest organizers said the full lineup is available for people to review ahead of the festival.
