The lawsuit was filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court and names Jenner and the chef’s supervisors as defendants (via Page Six). The woman is seeking unspecified damages over what she alleges were unsafe working conditions and multiple workplace violations.
According to the complaint, as reported by the Los Angeles Times, the chef started working for Jenner in November 2024. A month later, she allegedly informed her supervisors that she was three months pregnant and had a high-risk pregnancy. The lawsuit claims she requested “reasonable accommodations to protect her health.” Instead, she alleges that she continued working 11- to 12-hour shifts, five days a week, while performing physically demanding duties.
The court documents describe several incidents that reportedly took place during the woman’s employment. On New Year’s Eve 2024, the chef claims she was asked to “transport heavy food items across the street and uphill” without support. Per the lawsuit, the work left her “dizzy” and struggling to breathe. She also allegedly “began choking” before security personnel stepped in to help.
Another incident is said to have occurred during a birthday celebration for one of Jenner’s children in early February 2025. The chef claims she was expected to manage the event without “adequate support.” As such, she alleges that her requests for help were ignored by her supervisors. The lawsuit claims the workload became so overwhelming that she “broke down emotionally in the bathroom during the event.”
According to the complaint, the woman experienced severe bleeding the next morning and went to a nearby hospital. There, she claims doctors informed her that there was “no detectable heartbeat” and that she had a miscarriage.
The lawsuit is the third employment-related case involving Kylie Jenner this year. Earlier in 2026, two former housekeepers also filed separate lawsuits alleging workplace discrimination and mistreatment by other staff members. Those allegations, like the chef’s claims, remain unproven.
