Brad Pitt and Edward Norton — who headlined the 1999 film — were spotted hanging out during the World Cup match between USA and Türkiye at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., on Thursday.
Pitt and Norton could be seen chatting as they took in the event. Pitt, 62, wore a Team USMNT jersey, white bucket hat, and glasses, while Norton, 56, opted for a Radiohead T-shirt.
Directed by David Fincher, Fight Club follows the sleep-deprived Narrator (Norton) as he meets and befriends a charismatic soap salesman named Tyler Durden (Pitt). Together, the pair launch an underground fight club that quickly spirals out of control.

The cult classic, which is based upon author Chuck Palahniuk’s 1996 novel of the same name, also starred Helena Bonham Carter, Jared Leto, Holt McCallany, Meat Loaf, and more.
While Norton and Pitt haven’t worked together since the 1999 film, Pitt was later teamed up with Fight Club stuntman-turned-director David Leitch for his 2022 action film, Bullet Train.

Leitch previously told Entertainment Weekly that he was concerned at first that Pitt might turn down the opportunity to star in the full-throttle film.
“It’s really humbling for me as a director to have him validate a piece of material and say, ‘I want to make this, and make it with you, and I see you as a filmmaker,'” Leitch said. “We go back, like, 20 years now, so that full-circle moment was pretty special.”
In the end, the USMNT lost 3-2 to Türkiye, but advances to the knockout round and is set to compete against Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 1.
