The sun’s out in London, and any local will tell you that the place to be is on a picnic date at Hampstead Heath park. Just look at Zoë Kravitz and Harry Styles, or Joe Alwyn and Sarah Pidgeon.
The star couples were pictured cozying up on the same grassy field just days apart. And the photos are incredible.
Located in North London, the park is one of the largest and most beloved green spaces in the city. It offers views of the skyline, as well as of iconic structures like the Shard and St. Paul’s Cathedral. In it, you can find swimming ponds, a super-romantic Edwardian-era stone walkway framed by vines, and pockets of ancient woodlands brimming with British wildlife.
It also has deep ties to London’s art community. The poet John Keats lived nearby and wrote some of his most famous works there, and painter John Constable captured the park’s rolling hills and views through the seasons.
To this day, the Heath continues to be a popular spot for actors, musicians, and writers—so it makes sense that these Hollywood It couples would choose it as their date spot.
Styles and Kravitz were pictured there last week, looking so at ease while lounging on a red blanket in a field of tall grass—the pop star’s head resting on his fiancée’s lap. The actor wore a little black top and blue micro athletic shorts, while the “As It Was” singer—on a break from his residency at Wembley Stadium—was just as casual in a red-and-white shirt and gray shorts. They both accessorized with dark shades, and Styles popped on a baseball cap, which he wore backwards.
Alwyn and Pidgeon’s park date had all the signs of a steamy new romance. The Love Story star was fresh in a ribbed white tank, easy, lemon-yellow cropped pants, skinny black shades, and a blue Los Angeles Dodgers hat. Her blonde hair was up in a messy bun, and she smiled from ear to ear as she drank (what looked like) rosé with her flame. Alwyn was low-key in a navy T-shirt, black shorts, a black baseball cap, and big black sunglasses. Photos show the new pair walking together, lying down on the grass together, giggling, and sharing a few flirty kisses.
The couples delivered very different vibes on their dates, but the message was the same: This summer, love is at the Heath.
